Hailing from the Chicagoland area, Marissa Cohen is a graduate of Herron School of Art & Design, with a B.F.A. in Illustration and Visual-Communication Design. Marissa works under a multidisciplinary practice of various 2D and digital mediums. Her current focus is in observational drawing and comics. She still holds her pencil in a fist after several teachers eventually relented on trying to correct her grip.
