Dating In a Grammar Free Zone

My newest post "Dating in a Grammar Free Zone" was specially commissioned by the lovely and talented staff at Grammarly.com. I was flattered to be asked to contribute to their website and it was so much fun that we're soon going to be guest hosting a writer from Grammarly.com right here at the Writing Wonderland! Grammar Good Times!

"Dating In a Grammar-Free Zone" is all about humorous experiences with grammar and dating - and how dating someone who writes letters like "omigod lol you are too Cute for words"... is really asking for an eventual divorce if you're a dyed-in-the-wool grammar nerd. After all, people are meant to find love. I'm enough of a romantic to get that. However, there's just no excuse for sentences like the one above if you're trying to woo someone on a dating website. In the immortal words of Cole Porter, "Brush up your Shakespeare/And the women you will wow." Or, if you're unsure about Hamlet or A Midsummer Night's Dream, at the very least learn how to write a proper sentence. You love life may one day depend on it.

Check out "Dating in A Grammar-Free Zone" over at Grammarly.com!

A special and heartfelt thanks to the lovely folks over at Grammarly.com.  It's nice to know that we grammar folks are not alone.
